Need a responsible and caring person to look after your pets? You’re in the right place! I’ve always been an animal owner and love all animals, big and small. I've worked with many different breeds and sizes of dog. I can do lead and recall training with your pup, or just take them out for some fun and adventure!
Dogs adore my cookies, pupcakes and birthday cakes.

Get to Know Me
Hi! I'm Jen. I was a school teacher for 12 years and decided I needed a change in career. I thought to myself, when am I happiest? And the answer was when I was out with my own dogs. I decided to make a career from working with dogs and went to college to study a City and Guild's course in Competence in Dog Walking. I have owned dogs since I was young and have volunteered in a dog shelter, so I have a lot of experience with dogs of many different breeds and individual needs.

Some people forget that we are our dog's whole world and everything in their life revolves around us. When I walk dogs I always remember it is THEIR walk, it is for them to enjoy and find adventure from. Skills and lead manners will help the dog to enjoy their future walks even more, so I incorporate basic training to stimulate the dog mentally and allow them to physically enjoy their walks more. I heavily use positive reinforcement; lots of praise and treats (if allowed!). I use methods learnt at college for recall and lead manners.

Jen has walked our big girl Maddie (a headstrong Bullmastiff!) many times and always takes great care of her. She clearly knows how to handle dogs well and how to keep them safe, stimulated and happy. Maddie took a shine to Jen straight away and the feeling was mutual; Jen is clearly a dog lover! The pics of Maddie having fun on her walk was a nice touch which we appreciated. Would recommend Jen as a dog walker for any type of dog (if she can handle Maddie I'm sure she can handle any breed!)and will be contacting Jen if we ever need a dog sitter... Thank you!
